In Athens, May 2014 the Momentum project published 18 factors that are critical to deplying telemedicine succcessfully into routine care. These factors will help to build sustainable implementation from the ground up and move experimental pilots into routine care. The widespread deployment of telemedicine will help to improve safety, quality and efficiency of care and ensure that citizens have access to healthcare services where and when they need it.
